Batson Inc. completed an HVAC design for the new HP Customer Contact Center in Conway Arkansas. This facility recently earned ENERGY STAR^® Certification, which means it meets strict energy performance standards set by the EPA. The building uses less energy, is more economical to operate, and generates fewer greenhouse gas emissions than many similar buildings. It is one of only 14 office buildings in the state to earn ENERGY STAR certification.

Earning an ENERGY STAR Label for a commercial building is one way to show commitment to green building without the expense and challenging submission requirements of other green certification programs. ENERGY STAR uses actual energy usage data, ensuring that buildings are performing as designed. A building that bears the ENERGY STAR Label is among the top 25% of all U.S. buildings in terms of energy efficiency.
